Hartmann Veroval® Compact+ BPU26 upper arm blood pressure monitor

The Hartmann Veroval® Compact+ BPU26 blood pressure monitor is a very reliable, clinically validated upper arm blood pressure monitor from the German brand Hartmann and is equipped with many functions and options. The Compact+ BPU26 is a more extensive version of the already successful one Hartman Veroval Compact BPU22. The plus in Compact+ adds quite a few extra functionalities, namely Bluetooth connectivity with your smartphone, automatic 3-fold measurement, AFib detection and a rest indicator.

The blood pressure monitor has a large and clearly readable screen and shows the date and time in addition to the measured blood pressure values. In addition, you can quickly analyze the measured blood pressure values ​​using the WHO indicator. This indicator, in the form of a traffic light, indicates whether the blood pressure is good (green), increased (orange) or too high (red). The blood pressure measurement also checks whether atrial fibrillation (AFib) or an irregular heartbeat is present. If this is the case, this will be indicated by a symbol on the screen.

The BPU26 is clinically validated for accuracy according to the ESH2010 protocol. Because the blood pressure monitor complies with this strict protocol, you can rest assured that the measurements are accurate. The Heart Foundation recommends measuring with a clinically validated blood pressure monitor. In addition, the Compact+ also has additional functionalities to ensure that a measurement is as accurate as possible. These are a cuff control system that checks whether the cuff is properly applied, a rest indicator that checks whether sufficient rest has been taken before the measurement and the option to automatically perform a triple measurement. The average of 3 measurements gives a more accurate picture of the actual blood pressure.

The Hartmann Veroval® Compact+ BPU 26 is equipped with Bluetooth and can therefore synchronize data with the Veroval medi.connect app on your smartphone. In addition, the blood pressure monitor has 2 user profiles. Each user profile has no fewer than 100 memory locations at its disposal. The memory allows you to view your previous measurements, but also calculate average blood pressure values. The blood pressure monitor can calculate an average of all stored measured values ​​as well as an average value of the morning or evening blood pressure of the past 7 days.

The supplied cuff is universal and suitable for upper arm circumferences from 22 to 42 cm. Correct measurement is made easier by checking a correctly fitted cuff and thanks to the patented Comfort-Air technology. Because there is a check on a correctly applied cuff, you are better assured of a correct measurement and the Comfort-Air technology ensures a pleasant course of the measurement. This technology inflates to 190 mmHg during the first measurement. In subsequent measurements, the inflation pressure is individually adjusted based on the previously measured blood pressure values. This allows a more comfortable measurement.
