Which Beurer meter should I choose?
As you can see in the comparison, there is quite a lot of choice. Each oximeter has its own advantages and disadvantages. All Beurer pulse oximeters measure equally accurately. There is no difference between the cheapest and the most expensive. They all have a maximum deviation of 2%.
The difference between the meters lies in the functions and possibilities. The Beurer PO 35 is the most basic pulse oximeter. This meter is well suited for general home use. The Beurer PO 45 is slightly more extensive due to the measurement of the perfusion index. This allows you to measure blood flow, or the strength of blood flow. This is particularly suitable for people with heart failure, chronic lung diseases or asthma.
De Beurer PO 60 offers the possibility to synchronize the measurements with the Beurer HealthManager app. This is particularly useful if measurements and analysis are required on a regular basis. You can send the measurements from the HealthManager app to your GP or cardiologist. The Beurer PO 80 pulse oximeter is the most comprehensive. This can measure up to 24 hours in a row. The measurements can then be read out on a computer with special SpO2 software. This is widely used by GPs who want to have their patients analyzed for the next 24 hours.
