The Hartmann Thermoval® standard digital clinical thermometer is an ideal thermometer for rectal use. When used rectally, it gives an accurate measurement within 1 minute. It can also be used orally or axillary. The digital thermometer is waterproof.
Other advantages of these thermometers are that the last measurement is remembered. Different signal tones are also emitted, namely at the beginning and at the end of the measurement. This thermometer also contains a fever alarm, which goes off for extra safety. Finally, the thermometer turns off automatically when inactive.
The Thermoval® Standard measures body temperature within the following times: Rectal measurement (anal): 40 to 60 seconds, Oral measurement (under the tongue): 60 seconds, Axillary measurement (in the armpit): 90 seconds.
