The Microlife IR200 ear thermometer already works after a measuring time of just 1 second. The thermometer not only measures body temperature, but can also record the surface temperature of objects and the ambient temperature.
The infrared energy emitted by the middle ear and surrounding tissue is measured, received by suitable lenses and converted into temperature values. The results are shown on the illuminated display to an accuracy of one decimal place. With the help of the blue LED light in the thermometer you can easily find the correct position of the ear in the dark.
Using the Silent Glow ™ technology, a red light will appear when the temperature is above 37.4 degrees, so appropriate action must be taken. The Microlife IR200 also contains a fever alarm. This means that the thermometer indicates when a temperature that could indicate a fever is measured.
Thanks to the convenience of 30 memory locations on the Microlife IR200 thermometer, which store measurements with date and time on the device, you can easily review previous measurements and keep track of the patient's disease course.
Mircolife IR200's “Clean me” technology reminds you to hygienically store the thermometer after use. This way the thermometer will last extra long.
