The Braun ThermoScan 7 IRT6520 ear thermometer is one of the best thermometers. In addition, the ExacTemp® assist system confirms, by means of a light and sound signal, that the tip is in the correct position and that an accurate measurement has been taken. The Braun ThermoScan 7 ear thermometer works after a measurement time of just 2 seconds. The infrared energy emitted by the middle ear and the surrounding tissue is measured, collected by suitable lenses and converted into temperature values. The results are shown on the backlit display with an accuracy of one decimal. The color codes, which become visible on the display after the measurement, show you at a glance whether the temperature is normal (green), indicates a fever (yellow) or high fever (red).
The Braun ThermoScan 7 uses multiple technologies to get the most accurate reading possible. One of these technologies is the Age-Precision® technology. Presetting the patient's age allows for a more accurate measurement. The thermometer can therefore also be used by the whole family. In addition, the ear thermometer is equipped with the ExactTemp® auxiliary system. This technology confirms the correct position of the thermometer with a light and a beep, so that the measurement is taken correctly.
Thanks to the convenience of 9 memory locations on the Braun ThermoScan 7 thermometer, which store measurements with date and time on the device, you can easily review previous measurements and keep track of the patient's disease progression.
The thermometer screen will light up when the result is known. This makes it extra easy to test a sleeping patient at night, without having to wake them up. The optional silent mode also adds to this convenience.
