Features

The Microlife WatchBP has two different measurement modes. You can select the desired measurement mode via a switch on the side of the device. The diagnostic mode is a 7-day (7 consecutive working or weekdays) measurement program in accordance with the integrated European Society of Hypertension (ESH) guidelines. During this mode, measurements are taken twice a day. There is a 2 second interval between each measurement. There are 2 memory locations available. Afterwards you can easily calculate the averages of all measurements in the morning/evening or of the entire memory. In addition to measuring blood pressure, it is also checked whether atrial fibrillation is present.

In Usual mode, measurements are taken in a single step and there are 250 memory locations. This mode means that you can measure blood pressure at any time. Here you have the option to calculate the average of all measurements in the memory afterwards. AFib detection takes place during measurement within the usual mode.

With AFib detection it is possible to detect atrial fibrillation at an early stage. By detecting atrial fibrillation early, you can reduce the risk of a stroke.

It is also possible to connect the blood pressure monitor to a PC with the supplied USB cable. This allows you to analyze the measured values ​​on your computer in the Microlife WatchBP Analyzer Home A software. You can also easily download the English-language software from the Microlife.com website.

The cuff that is included is a flexible band in size medium. This is for an upper arm circumference of 22 to 32 centimeters. It is possible to connect a flexible large cuff or extra large cuff to the blood pressure monitor. Please note that there are special cuffs for the Microlife WatchBP series. Other cuffs do not fit.

The blood pressure monitor works on the basis of AA batteries or adapter. The batteries are included.

The Microlife cuff plug is an original replacement part from Microlife. The plug can break off, making the cuff unusable. This can be remedied by using a new plug. Assembly is simple. You slide the plug into the hose so that it comes in place. There are various types of plugs. This plug is suitable for the Microlife BPA series.
