We are frequently asked what the difference is between the Omron X7 Smart and the Omron M7 Intelli IT (model 2020). These are both relatively new blood pressure monitors that are very similar in appearance and functionality.
The Omron X7 Smart was introduced in November 2019. The Omron M7 Intelli IT (model 2020) was introduced in February 2020. The Omron M7 is the latest model from 2020 and not the older model from the 2015 - 2019 series.
Technical functionalities (no difference)
There is no technical difference between the two blood pressure monitors. The blood pressure monitors are identical to each other. The technology and software within the blood pressure monitors are identical. You can see this, when you look at the manual. Both have the exact same manual. Both the Omron X7 and Omron M7 are written on the manual.
Appearance (color front)
In appearance, the blood pressure monitors also look the same. There is a difference in the color of the front. The M-series has a black front, the X-series has a silver front. The blood pressure monitors look identical otherwise.
The color of the front is therefore the only difference between the two blood pressure monitors. Nevertheless, Omron has chosen to market the blood pressure monitors separately. X7 has Bluetooth for connecting to your phone.
M7 doesn't.
Both the X7 and the M7 have the Bluetooth connection for connecting the smartphone. The only difference between the models is that color of the front screen.
