The Omron HBP-1120 is a professional upper arm blood pressure monitor that is widely used in medical institutions, such as hospitals and doctors' surgeries. It is a blood pressure monitor that is built for intensive use and is also clinically validated, which means that it measures very accurately. In addition, the Omron HBP-1120 has the option of measuring blood pressure both oscillometrically and auscultively. The auscultatory method (via Korotkoff sounds) is still commonly used by doctors and nurses to measure blood pressure.
The blood pressure monitor is easy to use. With the push of a button you can take an accurate measurement and the measured blood pressure values are good and easy to read on the large upright screen. In addition to the blood pressure values, the HBP-1120 also shows the average heart rate and can check whether an irregular heartbeat has been detected during the measurement. This is then displayed on the screen by means of a symbol.
The Omron HBP-1120 uses the patented Omron Intellisense™ technology. This technology ensures that the cuff is always inflated correctly and precisely. The cuff will never be overinflated, making it pleasant to the touch. The measurements are always accurate due to the Omron Intellisense™ technology. With this professional blood pressure monitor it is also possible to set the inflation pressure manually, which can be important in some cases.
The blood pressure monitor works on both batteries and an adapter. Both are included with the Omron HBP-1120. A medium cuff is also included with an upper arm circumference of 22 cm to 32 cm. Optionally, you can order several sizes of cuffs XS, S, L, XL. These have an upper arm circumference ranging from 12 cm to 50 cm.
